Beata is a franchise and distribution law attorney working with clients across the U.S. and around the world. She has prepared franchise programs for concepts including real estate brokerages, hotels, restaurants, and fitness programs and health care-related franchise programs, to name a few. She focuses on guiding clients through franchise compliance issues, negotiating agreements, and facilitating mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions. Additionally, Beata helps clients avoid litigation through proactive counsel.
 
Beata also assists clients with implementing and managing other distribution models, such as distributors/dealers (including international distribution arrangements), sales representatives, or a combination of the two. She has worked with manufacturers in many different fields, including mining, medical, trucks and busses, and other vehicles.
 
With both a Swedish and a U.S. law degree, and having practiced in Sweden, Poland, and the U.S., she is experienced in handling trans-border matters and brings a deeper understanding of the differences in law and business culture, which impact such matters. She is fluent in Swedish and Polish, which enhances her ability to navigate international matters.  Beata is regularly ranked as one of the country’s “Leaders in Their Field” in Franchise Law by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and as a Global Elite Thought Leader in franchise law by Who’s Who Legal.
