Michaela moved to Chicago in 2023 to work for Business Sweden, where she currently spends her time supporting Swedish companies in their US expansions. Prior to relocating, she studied Industrial Engineering at Linköping´s University, where she was the chair of the board for the student association. She loved working with the board back then, which is one of the reasons she is looking forward to this engagement in SACC. Michaela also enjoys meeting new people and hopes to contribute to engaging new members into the group of YPs, so more people can take part of the great community.
Michaela’s favorite activities include exploring new cities and being active. Floorball was the sport that brought her abroad the first time, when she played with a team in Switzerland for a season. After that, she has worked as a tour guide within both hiking and skiing in France, Italy, and Austria, where she got the chance to combine her interests in languages, people, and outdoor sports.
